All of Windows Settings in One Place - Desktop Icon

Thu 12 Sep, 2019 05:06 am
Set up a one click desktop icon access to 100's of settings for Windows 7, 8 and 10.

Almost all of Windows setting parameters are here in one listing. Just click the item required and the appropriate settings panel comes up.

1. Right-click on the desktop.
2. Click NEW, then SHORTCUT.
3. Copy the following, and paste it as the LOCATION:
%windir%\explorer.exe shell:::{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
4. Give the shortcut a name e.g SETTINGS.
5. Click FINISH.

You now have a desktop icon, which when clicked, will give you immediate access to hundreds of Windows settings in one place.
If you do not see what you want, then use the Search or Settings/Control Panel menu as usual.

@Beaker17,
Most of those settings are for advanced users anyways most people won't understand about 90% of them.
& 95% of advanced users are already well aware.

I use Windows 10 version 1903.
I am afraid GodMode does not work - unrecognised.
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
That is why my path is different and does work.

@beantownmike,
"Stupid **** " - well done, take a bow for being hyper-intelligent.
My world and that of many others is full of such "Stupid ****" and we find it most enduring and useful.

The other 67+ viewers are obviously sufficiently interested and not inclined to make stupid and derogatory comments on a helpful thread which is intended to be informative.
