@izzythepush,
Biff is often used as a nickname.

Biff was also overused in the television series Batman in the 1960s. I'm fight scenes, the words "Biff, Bam, Boom" would often appear in cartoon caption format.

@Sturgis,
I remember that, it’s a slang term for thumping over here too and often appears as a sound effect in comics.

It’s just not a name, not even a nickname which over here tend to be insulting, start at school and are normally provoked by a minor incident.

The comedian Greg Davis does a brilliant skit on it.

One name in particular stood out. Greg Davis witnessed the initial incident. The individual rubbed his eye in a science lesson and his eye went a bit red. The story went out that the experiment he was doing caused his eye to pop out so they called him Popeye.

He was foolish enough to let it be known he quite liked the nickname so it changed. Now he was power wanking in a science lesson and the resulting ejaculation was so powerful it knocked his eye out and now he was called Spunkeye.
