But seriously, a quite funny film I saw lately (although not a recent release) was "Crime Spree", a crime comedy à la "Lock, Stock and two Smoking Barrels" (which is also very "seeworthy"
).
It features a rag tag collection of French gangsters sent to Chicago for a heist, who soon find themselves chased by the mob, the feds, the police and a street gang. The plot has many twists and turns and a good number of gags. The cast includes two aging French rock stars (Hallyday and Renaud, as a tough guy and an assassin) as well as Gerard Depardieu, while the Mob boss is played by Harvey Keitel. The film was good for a few laughs.
