The Chili Peppers these days make me cry. They need to go back and listen to their early albums and Kedis needs to stop taking voice lessons and crooning like a tipsy lounge singer.
Flea used to be in a kickass LA punk band called FEAR. He needs to bring some of that belligerance to the Peppers.

Nice to see you have upgraded. Opeth is amazing and the Alkaline Trio are probably the best in that whole pseudo-pop-punk group (absolutely smashing b182 and gc and green day to bits).

I dont know, I like both old and new. Most of the stuff from RHCP to By the way as been at lest decent. They're softer stuff is more original also. There's no one who sounds like the modern chili peppers. hopefully the new album they're making now delivers as well.

Hehe well it was obvious from your name that Greenday would be in that list...
Ok so i love Greenday, Blink were an old favourite, Hendrix is a god (pardon my blasphemy) - same goes for cream, only recently discovered My Chemical Romance but I'm loving them. The Chillis... i like it and all I just don't go psycho like some of my mates about how AMAZING they are... i guess i kinda think of them as a bit overrated or maybe i've just never got into them. Kinda the same with Nirvana.
Green Day- I used to like them even before they got as big as they did... i especially liek their old stuff from the early early 90's, but their newest album ( american idiot) with its rock opera theme is amazing to listen to from start to finish...
Red Hot Chili Peppers- they are okay, dont listen to much of their stuff
Sex Pistols - sex pistols were my all time favorite band for a long time, mainly because of their message and style not becuase of their music. Also their bassist Sid Vicious ( rip ) was amazing eye candy!
Screeching weasel - never heard of them
Dropkick murphys - never heard nay music from them

My Chemical romance - One of the better bands around today, emo as they may be I always engoy listening to them

Slipknot - okay here we go.. teriibly overated band that did sell out even though lead singer corey taylor swore they would never... last cd is borderline emo, older music is classic and good, but like the band memebers, the music too, is getting old, not to mention that Joey Jordison is an extremly overated drummer...
Dinosaur Jr - never heard the music
Nirvana - orverated... but genious, bleach and nevermind are amazing cd's wich i can listen to over and over again

Jimi Hendrix - amazing guitarist, enough said.
Blink 182 - these were my favorite band in what... like grade 6? Fun to listen too, older music escpecially, but didnt stand the test of time ( for me )

Alkaline Trio is amazing. Saw them in concert a few months back. Fantastic music.
I'm pleasantly surprised at seeing Dinosaur Jr in your selection. And I'm even more surprised that someone who likes DJ can help not bringing up Pavement, Archers of Loaf, Sonic Youth, Guided by Voices, etc. etc. Most people who like any one of those bands like all of the rest as well. It's just the way that genre usually is, i guess.
Also, I see The Sex Pistols, The Buzzcocks, and The Casualties. Very good punk bands right there. Ya like The Subways? Maybe The Misfits?
