Could Craven de Kere, the maker of the excellenet SEO mod for phpBB, do a similar mod for IPB?
IPB forums are lagging way much behind because they don't get a decent indexing in SEs. Such mod would greatly be apprecited by zillions of IPB users, which I happen to be one of them. I always used IPB, but just startd using phpBB.
I hope Craven de Kere reads this one day!

I probably could, as it is not a difficult concept but I will not as I do not have time to do so.
I made the phpBB mod for projects I needed it on, and decided to share it. I don't have any IPB projects and am thusly unlikely to need (and subsequently make) a mod for it.
There's only so much time in the day...

Craven de Kere's announcement, that he will not do it for IPB, was disappointing to me, so I decided to work it out on my own.
I'm an old time modder for friendly url's, and I released mods before for IPB1.x, so it wasn't very difficult to do the same for IPB2. I don't use any mod-rewrite stuff
The result can be shown in my site , I can't post the url here because Craven de Kere don't like that, but if you search google for 'Islamic Forum' my site would come up as the first result.
Why not post the code here for the searchers who happen onto this thread?
