I'm going to have to disagree with that. I don't think you quite understand the lengths women go through in order to retain their "beauty."
Let's start with...
Plucking eye brows. For some unknown reason, women are expected to have this unnaturally landscaped brow. Tweezing, waxing, threading... Painful, redness & puffiness. And for what? To prove the amount of pain one must endure to not look like a caveman ready for a Progressive Insurance photo shoot.
Shaving. This is comprised of two levels, armpits and legs. The "pink tax" makes the cost of a razor more expensive for a woman, because...well, let's get real, Americans think hair on women is gross. Men have the choice to shave their face and never think about their armpits but a woman is ostracized for hairy armpits. And legs? Ever cut yourself on the vein behind your knee? No? Go figure.
Heels. Yes, those pretty little things that unnaturally make a woman learn how to tip-toe through Life, The higher, the better. It's not just an accessory, it's mandatory in a professional, business setting.
Make up. Made from whale blubber, expected to be smeared all over a woman's face to change the natural color of her skin. That goes for foundation, lipstick, eye shadows & liners and blushes. Expensive as hell, totally unnecessary. As a personal note, lip stick is my thing...
Clothes. Well, that's a thread all of it's own.
The thing is, you think women just luck into situations where men have to bust their butt.
Not true. Beauty is hard work.
