So a Byzantine rather than a Russian two-headed eagle.

Actually his blood was mostly German. He became king of Greece as one of the ways to pay back the loans of the great powers to Greece during the indepedence war.

His father was king Ludwig of Bavaria however he had some Greek descent too. These were the genes that defined his appearance I guess Razz .

The statue I posted is not of him.

Well, Ellinas, I should have known, 'cause I named my German shepherd Ebony Von Bismark after Otto Von Bismark. Smile

I was certain that Walter had it. Sooooo, the place is still up for grabs.

[Actually, I was referring to King Otto (Rehhagel) and not Otto I of Greece ... and that was thought to be a joke]

You are right about the person. It is Constantinos XI Palaiologos aka "The marble king" or "The last emperor". Born by a Greek father and a Serbian mother he was the last Emperor of the Byzantine Empire, from 1448 till 1453 when Constantinople felt to the Turks and he was killed defending the city.

But I am not in Athens Smile. You still have to guess the place, it is not difficult at all.

That's it Mystras. I would consider Sparta correct too since they are about the same area.

Regarding the 2-0, if it stays like that that's a nice score against Milan taking in consideration the economical condition of AEK and the players they have Smile .
