Well, TV towers are rather generic, Dutchy. I'm with you. I suspect that Walter and Francis both know the correct one.
I suspect Chaplin is here, George:
George is right; it's in Texas.
Seems nobody wants to say that it's the Tower of the Americas, San Antonio..
Cannot post a picture for the moment, someone else take my turn, please...
an easy one so that we can get on with the game. Where am I and what is the significance:
India? Looks familiar, and yet not familiar.
Not India, Chaplin, but I can see why you would say India. <smile>
Oops, Chaplin, I may have to retract that. I am not a convergent thinker, and I should have know better. Simply give me the significance of the statue and I will accept it as the correct answer.
Look at the quote, then perhaps I can undo my mistake.
Another, truer picture
Hey, Chaplin. No, this person is a famous American writer.
The quote on the original picture is the key, Chaplin. Not Thoreau.
Right, satt. Glad you got the man. I really mislead Chaplin with that original picture.
My favorite of his is "Thanatopsis", especially the last stanza. It has been noted that the first part of the poem was written at the age of seventeen, and later in life, he added the last part.
Your turn, buddy.
