Would that be considered an ancient ruin, as in Persia, Francis?

A feral guess (tired of saying wild). Would it be part of the Citadel in the ancient city of Bam.

Ok, Francis. What general direction of Iran should we look? I love looking at all those places of ancient Persia.

My word, Francis. The one king that I found that most of the general Iranian populace would know is Shah Abbas. There are many, many emperors and rulers in ancient Persia.

Does the place touch on the Iraq side of the map?

Well known emperors of Persia are not legion, Miss Letty.

On the other hand, this place is somehow connected with a well known mythical (?) king of the Middle East region.
