I remember that song written by Arthur Freed in 1929, and also the movie with Esther Williams as the star. They all talk about Tahiti, but the cemetery I can find there is not anything like you're picture. Another clue required here I'm afraid. Smile

Can only think of Gauguin, but he lived in Tahiti and the Marqueesas Islands, so the latter it must be, however I cannot locate the picture you have posted.

ehBeth and Dutchy are both right. Doesn't matter about locating the picture. It's obviously a cemetery and Gauguin is buried there. Another famous man is buried very close to him.
