Built in 1859, rebuilt in 1916: the Russian Orthodox Church in Hakodate-shi, Hokkaido, Japan. Oldest Russian Orthodox church in Japan.
Since I'm doing my own stuff and George reminded me of it, he may carry on ...

Right, Walter, I was so surprised to see it there in a Japanese context but actually the town is very close to Russia and has many Russian influences. A pleasant centre to walk around in.
