Sorry to take so long getting back ~ we had a power failure here.
Yes it is Belize, Letty! Now guess the town. And you do see sugar cane, satt_fs. I didn't go here for pampering (that was Panama in February), but here's a very poor hint ...
My sister owns a house in this town. Which is the ONLY reason I'd ever go there.
Wow!, Tico. How did I even think Belize?
Well, I will give it a try, honey.
The turtles went to Belize. Now I remember. This is just a guess, but is it Monkey River Town? Probably better give us another hint, Tico/Ti
For decent toilet paper and pasta, my sister drives to Chetumal, Mexico.
(I think it's going to be a little quiet around here this weekend, Letty.)
You are right, Tico/Ti. All the players are in Chicago.
Well, I'll check my map again, but not certain if I will find your place.
Is the place in Northern Belize, Tico?
How about Orange Walk, Tico? Francis usually gives very subtle hints. He said something about 25 years ago.
Yes, he does -- although many of them go over my head. Including this one!
A little north of Orange Walk (which isn't nearly as picturesque as it's name implies). The Mayan ruins of Cerros and Santa Rita are very close by.
Well, Tico/Ti. It's getting rather late for me, TO. I shall try tomorrow if Francis, satt or the other Tico doesn't pop in and steal the show. <smile>
Corozal? (Just south of Chetumal on the Bay.)
It is indeed Corozal. No need to put it on a wish list. There are some really wonderful places in Belize, Corozal is not one of them.
Your turn, Ticomaya.
Ticomaya wrote:Almost looks like a scene out of "It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World."
I loved that movie. Topher McDonald and I laughed ourselves sick. But we were young then.
loco-loco-loco-loco el Mundo is still funny to me, McTag. Loved it!
Hey, Tico. U.S.?
brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Awful image to wake up to, Tico.
Just because Letty already asked "US", I'll ask -- Europe?
Is that a memorial of some kind, Tico?
Well, Tico. It looks like a war memorial. Kansas?
