Of course, Tico/Ti. I didn't think of that. Probably an Anglican church. Most people in Virginia have family cemeteries. Still cannnot find Francis' picture, however.

I think you've got it, Dutchy. The only thing missing in your picture is that cross/rood.

Well, I'm going to guess St. Mary's, North Elmham, Norfolk -- based on the steepleless belltower, the number of crenellations in the belltower, and pure instinct. Razz

I was at the bar last night and got into an argument with a couple of fellers (out-of-towners) who insisted that underneath every one of those stones you see, like the ones in the above picture, are dead people.

I started laughing and me and some of the boys beat those freaks up and tossed them out into the street.

I have a very low tolerance for people talking nonsense.

All will be resolved when Francis awakes, just as dadpad finally cleared the grain silo mystery.

)Dusty's not the same since it has got 8neo-)gothic windows (beisdes other different features).

The one Francis posted is in Norman (romanic) style. (Could be neo as well - you never know Laughing

Not Northumberland, but not that far...
Not Norfolk. "the other side" and more North..
And not Avebury (too far South).

Another hint: Henry VI sought shelter there after his defeat by the Yorkists during the ?'War of the Roses'.
