I have to run and do some errands, but I will give another clue in a song:

".....along with Colonel Jackson down the mighty Mississip......"(Johnny Horton)

Put Francis Scott Key together with the lyrics to that song, and you will have time.

The rocket's red glare is the clue in this picture. <smile> not the memorial.

Is it a reenactment at Ft. McHenry, where Key wrote the Star Spangled Banner?

But if so, Walter already got it.

The Johnny Horton song "Battle of New Orleans" was generally about fighting the British army, so I'm guessing that's the connection on that hint?

If not Baltimore ... New Orleans? Chalmette park?

Hey, Tico. Walter got Francis Scott Key, but he didn't get the exact place, dear. I was looking for Fort McHenry in Baltimore, Maryland. Of course we know that the bombardment of Ft. McHenry was during the war of 1812, but giving the hint of Johnny Horton's song placed us in an approximate time.

Your turn.

Dun Angus (or Aengus)

Quote:
What is this structure doing in this place? When was it built? Who built it? Archeologists, historians, antiquarians have no definitive answers to these and other questions about Dun Aengus. This is a fort with no water supply or evidence of dwellings, hardly suited for a long siege. Estimates on its time of construction range from a few centuries B.C. to the eighth or ninth century. Its builders - perhaps the legendary Fir Bolgs, perhaps the Danes.
