I assume we're not supposed to use the info contained at the links to the pictures as clues in this game, right? That would be too easy
nope, you're not, Ros.
Francis knows, of course, Yit.
Ros - This subject has arised a lot of times now.
If you want you can do that. But where is the challenge?
On the other hand, and it's not the case here, one shouldn't post a picture of a place you can find 500 samples around the world...
In my opinion, a good picture is one that can be found without questioning...

Yitwail,
There is a way to find the website location in the "properties" data for the image. It seems that Rosborne and Francis read it. (I read it too.) Letty is the only one not disqualified.
Francis is right that Lola lives in the vicinity. it's a public place in Manhattan. maybe you can narrow it down to a neighborhood?
Wandeljw - You underestimate me...
wandel, i know about the properties. i use it often in CONNECT THE PICTURE when i don't know what the picture's supposed to be. but it would be pointless to do that in this game, at least for me.
sorry for underestimating both yitwail and francis!
(by the way, was it unfair of me to use a television studio reproduction of another city?)
No, it wasn't unfair, wandel. It was a place after all.
bingo. washington square park. your turn, please.
all them arches look alike to me, Francis.
Okay, back in a bit with a place.
since no one's sticking their neck out, is it north america? the flag on the left suggests this to me.
Some other things suggest that could be Virginia...
Yes, it is North America, Yit. and those things suggest correctly, Francis.
it sure looks like a hotel, with the circular driveway & awning.
Or multi (poly) function?
ok, we got Virginia and a hotel with a poly multi function. Spot on, guys.
