Courthouse ... US? Southeast?
Hey, Tico. Yes, U.S. no, not a courthouse. South of the mason dixon line, yes.
A government building, though?
No, Tico.
Hint: It's way up high, buddy and RJB knows something of it.
Museum, residence, or former residence?
(Don't know RJB all that well, I guess.

)
Tico, was it EVER a former residence. A palace, if you please. RealJonBoy knows, and in his hippy daze, was there.
Here's another hint in the form of a song, Tico. Turn your speakers on.

I have to say goodnight, but I know you will get it, Kansas.
You mean that nobody tried Virginia?
Oh, I tried Virginia ... and it didn't work.
Well, it IS in Virginia, and the clue was AFTON. Heh! Heh!
You two are a couple of brats. I should have said Iceland, Greenland, or Poland.
Well, do either of you know the answer?
It's a 1912 italianate marble palace in Afton, Nelson County, called Swannanoa Palace, a nice b&b.
How did you know that, Walter. Did you cheat? I know you didn't. Just kidding around.
When my sister and I were there the first time, it had been vandalized and the only thing left untouched was the huge stained glass window. The story goes that the vandals had mistaken the window as being one of a religious nature, but it was a beautiful monument to the original owner's wife.
Later, it became a temple of some cult, and in the ruins of the formal garden stood this horrible statue of Jesus.
Well, at least it has been restored to its former glory. The mountain is Afton Mountain, of course.

Well, with those hints it was more than easy
Where am I here?
