C.I. is it below or above Naples?
I'm not sure who that statue represents, but if it's the person I think, that's a good clue.
Looks like one of the Roman god, C.I.
Catanzaro is the only other place I see on map, C.I.
I could be wrong, but doesn't that statue look like Hercules?
All them Roman gods look alike to me, C.I. Still haven't a clue.
Not Herculaneum. The other one.
Well, I'll be, Tico. Isn't Pompeii on the Isle of Capri?
Yeah, tico, Pompeii. That statue was sitting in the middle of this court when a group of tourists were surrounding it. I just spent enough time just to take this picture, but never did find out from my map who it represented. I just thought it looked like Hercules.
... and when you gave Hercules as a clue, and south of Naples, I thought Herculaneum!
and when I saw Tico, I thought TicoMaya. Wow. Welcome to A2K, buddy.
Yeah, he & I have already "met" -- and I apologize for the confusion of my chosen username.
I've been trying to avoid his haunts but this thread just fulfills my armchair wanderlust.
No apologies needed, Toronto. There be a lot of your countrymen on this forum.
Your turn, Canada.
I've never posted a photo before. Let's see if I can figure out how to do this ~
What bit of geography are the people looking at?
