Ok, this might be a reach, but I'm thinking that man might be a jhoting, the ghost of a low-caste Hindu who had died dissatisfied, and he is forever trapped in this lost canyon.
But where?
No, no, you're thinking of Yeti, and he's somewhere else....
Speaking of the Yeti, that reminds me of one of my favorite cartoon scenes. Johnny Quest. Remember him?
Well anyway, on this particular episode the Quest family was in Nepal. Johnny, his dad, that East-Indian kid he hung around with, and, of course, his beloved dog, were all crossing this rope bridge. Ahead of them were a bunch of locals, carrying the Quest family's supplies.
All of a sudden this shriek fills the air, a shriek that echoes through the mountain valley, a unworldy shriek.
One of the porters turns and faces the camera, and there is real fear on his face. He screams, "IT IS THE CRY OF THE YETI!!!"
I was on the edge of my friggin' chair.
But back to the rock....
I don't know Johnny Quest. I didn't grow up in this
country, remember? But I'll google for him now.....
Yeah, back to the rock... on google image you'll find it.
CJ, here's a good action shot of the Quest family. That's Johnny leading the way....
Do you see that volcano erupting in the background? That's the kind of life they led -- danger at every turn.
Yeah, I did look up some of his cartoons on google.
Okay, now back to my rock....
If you want to learn about "danger," go see The March of the Penguins. It's about love and survival. It's fabulous!
I've seen the trailer cicerone. Those baby Penguins are
so adorable, aren't they?
Okay, now back to my rock.....
No, but east coast is right.
It starts with M too, but further south....
