Highgate Cemetery, London. Tomb of Thomas Sayers.
Can you go again, I really can't post now.
Tico.....I forgot how good you were!
The tomb of Thomas Sayers, a bare-knuckle boxer in the mid-19th century. He fought his way to the equivalent of the modern Middleweight Champion of England - though boxing was illegal in Sayers' day, so no official designations exist.
Sayers died of tuberculosis at the age of 39. His faithful dog, Lion, was the principal mourner at his funeral, and is commemorated by this statue.
I SHALL FIND A HARDER ONE!
That's your brother's home in France, isn't it?
