I've never been to a real desert. I've been to Canada's version, it's dry but green, no sand... except the beaches. Been to Vegas, never got the chance to explore. Sigh...
The Gobi, I'll bet there are all kinds of mysteries under all that red dust. I'd love to spend a day photographing the curves, the colours... Double Sigh.. so many places... never enough money.

We have some desert about an hour east from San Diego - beautiful. Unfortunately, people wreck the area and wildlife with their dune buggies.
On any given weekend there are hundreds of dune buggies out in the desert -
not good.

Oh wow, there is Kitzbühel next to American towns... usually in Hawaii they're
crazy like this. I'll look...
