Believe it or not... I didn't know this place existed 'til two weeks ago. My husband and I were in southern BC, he was working, I was talking photos. It's a stunning area.
The Okanagan valley was filled with smoke, the tips of the blue mountain just peaking out over the cotton balls. You couldn't see the lake, from above the valley. I took some shots, but I don't think they turned out so well. I think I should have set the camera on the snow setting. lol...
I've been in the valley many times, but this time, because I couldn't see the blue jewel down below, I was looking the other direction at the dusty hills, when we passed by a small gravel road and a cow gate. Beyond it, I just caught a glimpse of this weird bubbly lake, a moonscape. When I got home, I looked it up. Coincidence or what???
