I still haven't figured out who the architect was. A few sites mention Jerde (John Jerde, if I remember), but in relation to him getting an award for the River Walk. He was the man for the LA Olympics in '84, worked up all the flags all over the place, a big hit at the time. Maybe the architect is mentioned on the Ed Pas site, and I skimmed over it.
