@Francis,
This is not a Light Tower but a Light Beacon placed at the entrance of a major waterway?

@Dutchy,
I've been looking at light beacons. Seems such a fragile light beacon.

Canada?

Dutchy, even though lighthouses can be bliss, this one is more like a memorial to a distinguished gentleman..

Osso, this place benefits from a more warmer climate..

@Francis,
Time for a clue Francis, have checked every sailor's memorial I could find to no avail in past couple of days.

@Dutchy,
I gave already a wonderful clue, Dutchy.

In fact, in the same phrase, I gave the two keywords with which it pops out immediately on Google.

Isn't it bliss? Mr. Green

@Dutchy,
Hmm. That reminds me of a differently shaped but somehow at least color related building in Canada. So, I'll start with Canada..

@Dutchy,
I keep thinking it's by Will Alsop, maybe in the UK. But can't find it yet, if so.

here's a clue why I'm thinking that way - though the tower in your photo has a more restrained presence....

Good!

Back in a bit. I managed to click off one I found the other day (and who knows just where I found it).
