I tried those too as well as Italy. It's the building I can't figure out. I thought palace or cathedral.

Ladies you're all in the right part of the world but it is not Turkey, Greece ossobuco, not UK or Italy TTH, and neither Sardinia or Yugoslavia Green Witch. Clue: The domed building is a shrine.
