And your picture, Miss Letty, looks typically British...

I chose the place because it has to do with St. Patrick. Can you name the city? I know that you can, St. Francis.

Hello, Letty and Francis!
Is it a famous Irish home, mansion, historical place?
It's not the Blarney Castle, is it?
I can't imagine I'm right, but if so, someone else can 'take it away' as I will be unable to return to a2k for about a week.

You say goodbye I say hello, devriesj. Seems as though Francis has taken off, too.
Where is he?

Coming to you live from Florida, it's Letty, ehBeth.
Recap. Francis knew Clary's place but didn't want to name it. I gave it a shot of adrenalin by posting another place, then Francis decided to do Clary's place. I think he knows where my place is, but didn't play. Then devri made a guess but is away. My air bus was a joke because it landed, on its maiden voyage, at JFK international airport Tuesday. The French want to sell it to America.
Would you like me to go on and on and on, or would you like to guess my place? (whew)

i'm clueless about the place, so i could use a clue about the writer. the closest i got was James Galway, but he's a flautist, not an author.

Well, Turtle, they say porpoises have saved drowning people, but a whale?
Many folks think that St. Patrick was born in Ireland. Not so, but at this place, and one of my favorite writers wrote "The Luncheon", and "Of Human Bondage."
