When you say North, Walter, do you mean straight North or NE? Can we eliminate France?

A said "a bit north" - that doesn't eliminate France. Quite the opposite!

Well, you said, "not to eliminate France, just the opposite."

Is your place in France on the Belgium border?

No, Letty, I didn't say that.

Nevertheless: it is in France.

Hmmm. I don't want to quibble, because it's petty, but just to keep me from thinking that I'm "seeing stuff":

Well, since I've not so much time to follow this thread and as well as my responses seem only to irritate:

it is in France. In Paris. Called "Medici Fountain", in the Jardin des Tuileries (close to the Louvre).

Your turn, Letty.

Walter, your responses aren't irritating. I just get confused easily and try to keep my own thinking straight.

Not Islam, Dutchy, but the place is in the U.S. Another hint. Many celebrities embrace this religion. Have you ever heard the nursery rhyme, " Old mother -------went to her cupboard"? Razz

That hint was enough Letty. Laughing but the buiding is another matter.
Lafayette Ronald Hubbard (13 March 1911 - 24 January 1986), better known as L. Ron Hubbard, was an American pulp fiction[1][2] and science fiction[3] writer and founder of Dianetics and Scientology.

Now is it a temple belonging to the Church of Scientology?

Indeed it is, Dutchy. Now think the state in which I live, and it's not Tampico on the Gulf of Mexico, but the first four letters of that place is another clue.

No, honey, not the first four letters of Florida. Look at the first four letters of the other place. Incidentally, Tampico, Tampico, on the Gulf of Mexico, is a song. Razz
