Not sure why it says Stariya on your reference, meaning Old in Russian? But it is the Karakul Gate, in Bokhara. I only got as far as Samarkand, but that was awesome.

Mrs Walter has been around there last April: UK, England, (South) Devon, Burgh Island.

I suppose that carriage is used to go to the island.


Atleast that's the use of such in Germany

Yes, and the vehicle is called the Burgh Island tractor, it isn't horse drawn! The hotel, art deco, is very exclusive and they have a lot of Agatha Christie links, films made there etc. There's also a good pub on the island.
