Walter, dear. I am trying to pinpoint the place. It is not easy when one has never been out of the U.S. I'll keep searching then.
Is your place The Fine Arts museum in Valenciennes, France, Walter? As usual, I cannot find the image.
Congartulations, Letty! Exactly that's it.
(Wiki has a photo, besides other sites.)
Your turn again.
Well, Walter. Jean-Louis Barloo helped.
Where am I?

My goodness, Francis. That was quick, and I suppose you know the state and the specific place.

An image from the past, where am I?
Francis is asleep, so we can collaborate. I'm going to guess his place is some historic landmark in San Francisco, California prior to the great quake. San Francisco was called the Paris of the West.
The place is in the US, but not in San Francisco or California.
It was not a hotel.
There are 8 masts on the roof, could it be an early radio or telegraph station?
I think I saw this building in a book about the Old West. Is it in Denver? Is it a theater?
Well, Thomas is on the spot. (Good memory, Thomas!).
It was some kind of theater, as it was Tabor Grand Opera House, Denver, Colorado.
Post your picture, Thomas.
