I wish I knew Tacoma better. I think that is downtown Tacoma where 9th crosses the intersection of Broadway and St. Helens. But I can't find anything out about that event and surely that must be the most important thing. I know Rivkin's is gone, replaced by a coffee shop.

<sigh> I'll be back later. I have to take the speed-mobile for a drive. Maybe somebody who isn't so rusty as I am can figure out the reason for all those armored vehicles and men.

Our son took us to a restaurant in Tacoma that overlooks water many years ago when he lived in Federal Way. It has really nice ambiance, and wouldn't mind returning there for a meal.

One might, dear Gus, but one would then be sadly off by a few thousand miles. I think I did offer a yes for Mexico. I will also note that one can see the water from those verandas, so a land-locked place wouldn't do, even if it were on the same continent.
