Well done Letty. This is a spectacular road in the State of Victoria, travelled it many times with visitors from overseas.

It is awesome, Dutchy. Love scenic highways. A1A here is similar, but the hurricanes have damaged the dunes.

Back later with a place, but it may be a while since I have some stuff to do.

Hey, Dutchy. Very tired and am going to bed, but think Thor Heyerdahl and his expeditions.

Night.

Thor Heyerdahl was an explorer, the only thing I can recall about him was his Kon-Tiki raft and him crossing the the ocean from South America to Polynesia. Well how about the latter two places?

Hey, Dutchy. Actually, buddy, this particular place involves Heyerdahl's latest and last expedition. He is one amazing man. You probably missed my goodnight message last evening. Now, it is 5:47 AM. Razz . Think Inca.

Peru is correct, Dutchy, and I'm not fussy about being explicit but think:

2 koo and me. Razz

What does that thing represent, some relic from the Inca people somewhere in Peru?

It's sort of like an obelisk, Dutchy, and don't forget, it's Thor's final expedition as of now. Check him out on the web, and you will find the place with the hints that I have given.

Eureka! Found this bit in one of his biographies, In the 1980s-90s he was leading archaeological projects in the Maldives, Easter Island, and at the pyramidal area of Tucume in Peru. Now in your previous posting you gave the hint 2 koo and me, could that be "Tucume"?

That's the place, Dutchy. Big smile. I had no idea that Heyerdahl was still alive.

Here is a link to the google image, honey. Your turn!

Letty. Heyerdal died in April, 2002, aged 87. I located this picture which I think shows your post. Will be back shortly with a photo.

My word, Dutchy. The man is dead. Sorry for the misinformation, but he left us a great legacy, no?

Ok, Dutchy, I think that I will vary my approach. Is that the bust of someone who died on this day in history?
