Your hint may be harder than your photo, Letty...
I know nada about rockets to the moon, if that is the moon.

Are we in Australia?

If I'm right, someone else (osso?) go - I'm not going till I figure out what that whatchamadoey is called that I posted - Douglas J. Cardinal is the architect and it was only a landmark, but damn I forgot the name.

I don't know about the railing, Mame. I just know that my birthstone is an opal. <smile> I wear my Mom's. Probably got it because it is supposed to be unlucky to wear an opal if your birthday is not in that particular part of October.

And I thought I saw it before and haven't. Also spent a bunch of time, not all lost, as I didn't know anything at all about First Nation architects before.
The afternoon I spent noodling around the English channel was a real time digger (that was the Mt. St. Michel one..), but enjoyable.

LOL to both of you, and to me, too, because I thought I got Letty's clue! Dang it all! Oh well. I'm geographically-challenged, have you figured that out yet? Laughing

Dutchy, I won't give up - I will find it, I swear! He is a fabulous, innovative architect, and this is either a landmark in Grande Prairie, AB or somewhere in Saskatchewan! Sorry I'm just a booby!

Catch you guys later tonight or tomorrow.

As there are no takers, I'll supply the answer, the picture is taken at the "Breakaways" about 25 miles north of the Opal Capital of the World Coober Pedy, in outback South Australia.

That wasn't so hard now, was it, Dutchy. <smile>

I came across that place while searching for opals. Your turn, Aussie.
