Right, Walter. Let me explain something. I tried for over an hour to locate the birthplace, or the place where Shirley Jackson, writer, was interred, and had no luck at all. Nor did I have with locating Somerset Maugham. I simply cannot understand it.

Somerset Morgan was born January 25, 1874 in Paris, France.
Shirley Jackson December 14, 1916 in San Francisco.

Somerset Maugham died in Nice but he was cremated in St Pierre cemetery in Marseilles, France.
His ashes were remitted to the family.
