You have the tree, Dutchy. It is totally awesome, and when we stood under it, we were dwarfed. It's not St. Augustine, and I am surprised that you found the tree without finding the place. Try again.
This must be it! Bulow Creek State Park. This park protects one of the largest remaining stands of southern live oak forest along Florida´s east coast. The reigning tree is the Fairchild Oak, one of the largest live oak trees in the south. For more than 800 years it has been a silent witness to human activities along Bulow Creek, including the destruction of the neighboring Bulow Plantation during the Second Seminole War in 1836. Several trails allow hikers to explore the interior of the park, where visitors can see white-tailed deer, barred owls, and raccoons. The Bulow Woods Trail, nearly seven miles long, takes hikers to Bulow Plantation Ruins Historic State Park. Visitors can picnic in a shady pavilion or at a table on the lawn within view of the Fairchild Oak. Located five miles north of Ormond Beach on Old Dixie Highway (County Road 4011).
That's it, Dutchy. We were all over that place and it is indeed a wonder. Even the hurricanes have done little damage to that behemoth
Your turn, buddy.
Not Virginia Letty. Hint, Neil Diamond had a hit with the second part of the State in it.
I was just teasing, Dutchy. It does look like some of the homes I have seen in Charleston, South Carolina. I'm not certain of the Neil Diamond song, but I'll look
Instead of South Carolina look in North Carolina and you may find what you are looking for. Remember the song "Sweet Caroline"?
I certainly do remember Sweet Carolina. I'm humming it right now. Ok, is this the home of a famous person?
No it is not. Hint: Museum
Has this museum to do with music, Dutchy? Also, is the place in Charlotte, N.C.?
Not music and not in Charlotte Letty. Hint, history tells us everything repeats itself.
Well, Dutchy, I am digesting your hint. Winston-Salem, N.C.? I see an attraction of an old Salem Village, and with this being the month of witches and such, just thought I would try a little voodoo. <smile>
Sorry Letty, wrong interpretation, try again.
Are you a fan of "Kanda Bongo Man" Walter?
It was by the Tee Sets, wasn't it?
(Well, the Americans spell it differently, like bellamy or so

)
Are you posting the winning name or leave Letty guessing when she wakes up, Walter? :wink:
