As a result of any interactions or debates on Able2Know, have you ever changed your mind or your stance on anything significant?

Okay, if nothing significant, then--insignificant?

Oh, all the time.

Thomas is doing his best to change my mind on the "Climate of Man" thread, and I think he may be succeeding.

I can't say A2K has ever changed my mind (yet) but it has made me ponder more. I regularly sit in front of this machine with my 'thinking face' on.

I know.

Sometimes it seems like it just makes me more firm in my beliefs. Well it does make me examine my thought patterns & logic that may be flawed or point toward areas for improvement.

BTW, I wish you'd pout more in front of the computer---thats nicer than just pondering. I guess you could ponder & pout at the same time?

I don't know that I have changed my mind specifically because of something on A2K. But I have had to work to support my opinion by searching for supporting evidence, which can be suprising sometimes when you find out you don't know what you think you know.

I have learned things on A2K. Don't know if that it counts as changing your mind.

I think so, and I've been around barely a month. I have to change somebody's mind now, to come out even.

extra m, pouting and pondering natuarally go together, try it, go on...ponder something and you will find your lips start to pout...

I recommend 'why am I here?' for perfect, pondery, poutiness

I could have changed my mind a time or two. But more over it's a continuing learning process - and for one I'm an out of the box kind a guy and required to stay inside the lines around here - I never colored very well as a kid or now.
