I know what you mean. I've felt like this.

I'm on the fence on it a bit.

I have this thought often: "Yes, sometimes it feels like I just wasted 3 hours debating stuff, and while some of it is ultimately not very important, I did learn a few things."

Then I come around to this (sometimes): Lets say I "wasted" 3 hours. But in that 3 hours, there were 4 minutes when I read or debated something that will have somewhat of a "minorly profound" affect on my life. Something that may help me save years of wasted effort or "false" beliefs. Somehow, though it may seem I wasted 3 hours, the 4 minute breakthrough I had makes it all more than worth it in the long run.

Eh...then again I might have just wasted 3 hours!--and this is just my rationalization. I prefer to entertain this possibilty though.

Oh my. Might want to check the Politics Board.

Also, highly recommend listening to The Beatles "Revolution" about 60 times, and get a copy of the lyrics off the Internet so you can read the words. "If you want money for people with minds that hate, all I can tell is brother you'll have to wait." Twisted Evil

Thank you! See, I just learned something else.

I probably should Learn (or remember) to do a Search for Posts of people on this Board.

Yes, I saw that thread on "Would you rather be intimate with a mermaid or an angel?"--but it didn't really say how to do it? Nevermind --sorry. Rolling Eyes

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your Goldfish.

May Goldfish (name?) rest in peace and may you take comfort in the fact that your Able2Know Family is here for you, should you need anything.

(BTW, Nice Lips! Are those yours?)

I have learned that despite all my rage I'm still just a rat in a cage, a tiny hummingbird in a big aviary, an inconspicuous grain of salt in Morton's processing plant, a barely glimmering pulsar in a vast universe...

To be honest Smorgs I was afraid to console you on your loss because I just didn't want to go there. Now I don't discriminate, but putting "sex a goldfish" and "my goldfish just died" in the same paragraph just makes me not want to delve into that one.

I guess I'll change that prayer from a prayer of consolation for smorgs, to a prayer of forgiveness for smorgs...smorgs you better pray (or whatever you do) too...

...and I don't "pray" on my friggin' knees, thank you very much! Twisted Evil

Jeez, now I'm learning more from this board than I ever really cared to.

People, why must the threads here, started by earnest and steadfast seekers of knowledge and understanding, always devolve to sex,
WHY? I beg of you. For the love of...Goldfish! Twisted Evil

Really? Cool. I thought they just existed in Mony Python's quest for the holy grail.

Heehee - I cannot let this false impression go by - Oz does NOT have carnivorous rabbits (except, I assume some eat their young).

He meant ME!
