Any way to permanently delete FB messages so they’re not in FB download?

I’m in a relationship where I was forced to provide access to all my online accounts, including Facebook, and I’m terrified he’s going to download my FB account information which includes deleted messages about divorce and other things I don’t want him to see. Is there anything I can do to get rid of messages I thought were deleted and gone?
