I'm with Spanky: We want to see the real thing,
not sightseeing photos of London - google can provide that
for the ones who never been to London.

We want juicy stories and ugly pictures!

I think the ugly pictures will turn up on the Europe thread: Francis deals only in purity and beauty.

Some of the party have evidently not got to a computer yet, they are currently wandering in darkest Holland and Belgium, en route to Westphalia.

He's - I think - in HongKong.

hmmm

I thought that was going to be a bit later. Oh well, I'll catch up with him next time he's just south of the border here.

Hi All, It was interesting that Francis stayed at the same hotel I stayed two years ago when I attended the first Europe Gathering in London. I must share with all of you what a real gentleman and generous soul Francis is - besides offering us a stay at his home in Paris, he treated us to some wine for dinner. He introduced us to some great Italian wine that I wrote down for use when I get home. I'm not sure whether dys or Diane posted after our chunnel ride to Brussels, but I'll leave that for a later tale. I'll have to log off pretty soon, because this internet cafe closes in about ten minutes.

The Padding Court Hotel was full of us foreigners; you name em, they had em. They're fully booked too! Good location with easy transportation or walking to some favorite sites of London. I'm sorta glad we're in Amsterdam, though, cause it's a little cheaper to eat and drink here. LOL Talk to all of you later, since they're closing this place down in a few minutes. c.i.

Lord E...
of course there was no untoward behaviour, drunken brawling, that sort of thing - you need Aussies to kick that off, and drag the rest of them down, and......no Aussies made it Sad

<and Lady E has to work, or chooses to work???>

Setanta - you like the old jokes....of course you do, deary Wink

Walter Smile

Francis - great yarn so far - and getting colourful. I must say, a Bush House in Oz sure wouldn't look like that - they have funny concrete bushes over there (and dangerous in US)

I can't believe this. While it is Wednesday, and we're still
waiting for the London a2k people to show us something
substantial, the New York crowd has spit out 400 pictures
in an instant.
