Strictly speaking, with regard to Augsburg and the Lutherans, there is and remains, specifically, an Augsburg Confession . . . it's all tied up with that there loony Spaniard, Carlos--and his position as HRE, thanks to huge bribes and momentary insanity on the part of the German electors . . .

Oh yes, but this Augsburg Confession has nothing to do
with roman-catholic confessions of sins, of which we hopefully
hear from Walter Wink

I'll discuss the absolution with urs then ....

Here I am on page 18, trying to catch up. Francis, I plan to come back for many more lives in order to get to know certain men better. You are one of the most appealing (and mysterious).

Must leave, but will continue to read until I'm caught up with the rest.

Superb pics, anyway, and likewise all Walter's. Are you jealous you missed the German meeting?

Mothers, don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys
Don't let 'em play guitars and drive them old trucks
Let 'em be doctors and lawyers and such . . .

It is not my task to answer questions, but to question answers. To be impertinent, insolent, and if necessary, subversive. I alternate cowboy boots with sneakers with leggings just as I alternate driving my truck with driving my porsche. I see the greatest of all wow factors to be the care a mother shows her infant child while children are dying everywhere around her.

The inimitable Dys could, should, write a book. His memoirs would be a fascinating read.

Yes, I'll keep an eye on him--it's so easy to do.

"Clary=the only civilized broad I met in Europe+Great Britain."

must object to this. Grande Bretagne is an intregal part of Europe and now has a land border with La France.

Clary is well able to speak for herself Smile

(we will be down your way soon Clary...well not too far away somewhere called St Colomb Major, or Sgt Major Colomb or Saint Mary Colon anyway up yours, as it were, way. Its in Cornwall)

and its called SAINT COLUMB MAJOR

and here it is
