Any idea how much these old glasses would be worth?

I foud these glasses in my grandmothers stuff.
They are HEAVY.. like brass .
Perfectly round glasses that have hinges that are not spring loaded.
The funny part of them though... the glass in them offers no correction.
They are just glass. Confused
The style is alot like glasses from late 1800-early 1900.
I know that a certain " look" then was achieved by wearing glasses, wether for correction or not? These could fall in that catagory?
I dunno..
Then, they could also be from a place like Party Pig and were just a small part of some halloween costume. Laughing

Actually, the design of the glasses is exactly like ones that ben franklin had ' modified' for his own use. (( later becoming one of the first bi-focals ))

The style is not shown well in the pictures at all.
Unfortunatly, there is no company name, no box, reciept or any other piece of information that i can use to search with ?
I have described them in google.. that got me no where.
I have searched for images of glasses in the late 1800's... they look the same, but give no direction as to HOW you would determine how old they are.
Mr Wolfs grandmother had them. She died at 85. they were in a box from 1942, and appeared unopened for YEARS.
So .. I dunno? How do you 'date' glasses?
Can you do it on the internet?
