This mod removes the latest post from index.php,viewforum.php, and search.php. Is their any way to have a switch user logged in so it is only viewable when people are logged in?
I removed this from my forums and many people wanted it back because they use it. I noticed MSN is indexing both post###.html and about###.html which are the same pages.
Thanks
What mod are you talking about? If you have code, post it.
The Able2know SEO mod. The latest post is unlinked and the date is linked with the latest post. It turns out many of the members like i the old way...Any way to just add a switch to the latest post icon so search engines don't spider it when they visit the site?
Sure, but I don't personally find it worth coding and because of time constraints will have to refrain from doing so.
ok thanks. Just wanted to see if this was done already...I'll be playing around with the code today.
Thanks again.
Just for reference, the logic is:
if userdata = logged in {
the old way before my mod
}else{
the new way after my mod}
