My Cloud

I was just listening to Ip's favourite song.... and suddenly thought back to about this time last year... and this is what happened on my screen:

My Cloud

It's still there
This black cloud that hangs above me
It's mountainous form that blocks out the sun
And obscures my sense of reason
Or Logic
I didn't realise until tonight
The sky has seemed so bright
And each thunderstorm a passing feeling
But tonight,
As i stared into your eyes
As i sung this song so sweetly
Under my breath
As the tears in the corner of your eyes
Threatened to blot my page clean
I felt a twist
And turned my face at the pain
Because i had forgotten it still lived here
I thought it gone
Disappeared
Waiting
I never saw it as conquered
But tonight i feel it still
This cloud of disillusionment
That steals within my mind
And thieves my happy times
Leaves me with blackness
