What were some of your favorite childhood toys and games?

British Bulldog was constantly being banned at my primary school.

We'd stop playing it for a few days only for it would creep back.

It was only when fights started that the teachers realised what was going on.

Structo made a nice line of toy trucks:

I recall those trucks. But the Caterpillar tractor I tried to describe seems impossible to find. I wish I knew who made it. It was the only wind up toy I ever saw that had works as complex as a clock.

One year all I was given was a train for either my bday or Christmas. I was sorely disappointed. It was made from a block of wood, featureless but for the way it was painted. The wheels were a few dozen washers I don't think I bothered playing with it.

This could be it. We got it from another kid and it didn't have the red part.

I loved playing Tiddlywinks and the card game 'Snap'

Also I had a walking talking doll, as well as a growling teddy bear.

The Chinese jump rope was fun and I liked my skipping rope as it had a bell on each end.

Mostly I played Two balls on the wall.
