Folding corrugated tin back to make a sled - went down as smooth over grass as a sled on snow

I remember being obsessed with this doll called Swingy. That is what I wanted for Christmas.



Instead I got:


I was very upset and disappointed. What a difference a ballerina rather than this cool doll that danced like a rock star. My parents said there were no more Swingys - I said that's ok but being young you really aren't that good at hiding your feelings - and being a parent now I know how they must have felt.

Then one day coming home from school - I walk into the house and hear this cool music from the livingroom - I walk into the livingroom and there is swingy swinging away on the livingroom coffee table.

So yeah that qualifies for a favorite toy.


Favorite game - I remember spending hours on the playground playing Chinese jump rope.

favorite toy -- age 5 i had a Mattel Funlight projector...



can't remember what the deal was, but i spent hours and hours playing with it...

I had Crissy and Velvet but I don't remember the commercials or looks being quite so creepy.


I was never much of a doll kid -- a relative who worked for Ideal gave those to us. I know my brother got something called Kooky Camera. It's impossible to find online because it might be spelled Kamera or something like that.
