I know this isn't what you had in mind edgar, but I really love this theme song from the Netflix show "Mars"

I don't know why, it just touches something in me.
Also, I really loved the show.

BTW, the 182 seconds? That's how long it takes light to reach from Mars to Earth, or vs versa

I'll be back with a more popular pick....

anybody whose spent time in the Dakotas during a typical winter dark will know that the theme for the movie and TV series of the same name, FARGO, is about the most depressing music and the perfect mood synthesizer for the town itself. Where the air is frozen shattered glass

I'm with you on Rockford Files. How about Dallas. Didn't care for the show, but the theme song was great. Let me not forget the theme from LA Law. Just loved that saxophone.

When I was a kid I loved this detective show set in Amsterdam.

This is a good song in its own right, then it became the theme tune to Peaky Blinders which is one of the best dramas to come out of the BBC in a long time.
