It's not making things slower, in fact it makes it more of a pain in the ass for others.
If you mean slower for you, well, them's the breaks.
I'm enjoying this thread, but in all honestly have no inclination to click on a link, when it's more convenient, as well as more informative to the reader, to be able to see the actual video waiting to be started.
Or, just keep doing it. Just makes it seems like you don't know how to embed a video.
