A dictionary definition which equates a serf with a slave is evidence of ignorance on the part of whoever wrote the definition. Slaves are slaves for life, as are their offspring. Slaves own nothing and live on whatever their owners choose to give them. Serfs had rights in property. They didn't own the land, but they were entitled to a certain amount of land for crops, and to use the common to graze their livestock. One third of everything they produced was theirs to do with as they chose. Which is why many serfs bought land, and ceased to be serfs.
Keep displaying your ignorance, it seems to be your strong suit. The sneers and the insults are mildly funny, but they're not much of an argument.

That's rich, coming from the most willfully ignorant and unintelligent person on this site.
