Hello. Is there a way to download Roboforms and use them if you don't have access to your home computer?

These forms are commodious-they come in handy if you have to register at a large number of websites because these forms save the registration information, rather than you incessantly duplicating it.

Simple answer: no.

If you want to take it from computer to computer use RoboForm Portable (Pass2Go).

Google Toolbar, Symantec has a "Password Manager" in its suite that I use....

There are a lot of form filling browser plugins out there. Beware of the ones with malware bundled.

I have to wait till I get my home computer fixed. Do you know of any freeware programs that are smaller and that I can save to disk?

No.

Note that saving a program to a disk is rare. Most require registry entries and that precludes a self-contained executable for use on a disk.

Not if its freeware. Sometimes you can download a program to a cumputer desktop and save an actual copy of that program to disk, if you have enough disk space.

I tried posing this question to people at Attack of The Show! at the G4TEchTV messgae boards, and I tried e-mailing them. Who should I ask over there? What's the best time to call when the show comes on?

I don't think you understood me.

I am not talking about registering a program, I am talking about the windows registry.

Most programs are not self-contained executables, and they have registry entries.

If so, then the program can't be used as a file, and ported to other computers as easily.
