Frank,

I sincerely appreciate the fact that you have posted replies to me in the manner you have been recently. I knew there was a gentleman in there somewhere.

As for the hypocrite statement, you don't need to address it. Let's let it just die and be forgotten. Truce?

Anyway, don't bother with the invitation to that new thread. Why would I deliberately go there when I know that is what I am going to hear?

I wish you well and will keep you in my prayers.

Momma, folks who have to continually resort to foul language and various invective simply demonstrate their moral, intellectual and spiritual bankruptcy. Remember what Paul said to the Pharisees in ACTS 13:46.

Yeah....and the are also showing there poor vocabularies.

NOT!

I can tell you this....I am as intelligent and as moral as you or anyone else in this forum. As for "spiritual"...well...if you want to talk about whether or not I have whatever it is you are guessing exists in the way of spirituality...go for it. Sounds like a rather unintelligent argument to me though.

Eh? You referrin' to the indigestion you give me? As for "playing," this forum is a battleground, not a sandbox (even tho there are, of course, those who constantly defecate in it...).

Seems to me this forum is whatever you care to make it. I think much, if not most, of what folks claim to find unpleasant rode in with 'em.

Yeah, That church can accept perperts and dogs and cats, I wonder if God Accepts them?
Does not matter what thic Priest says, I am more than suer That God is not very pleased.
Mohammed(p.bu.h) Was so damned right when said " Fear ur enemies within the religion, than those outside".
In Islam, There is a very interesting teaching.
U can be a gay, which is not allowed in Islam, but still be Muslim, if u do not claim that it is not sin and Allah Allowes it, U will be a BIG sinner, but still within the Islam. But whenever u say that it is ALLOWED to be a gay(which means u r changing the word of the God, saying the opposite he said), U r Kafeer.

U can be a prostitute, and be called a Muslim, u will be SINNER, not Kafeer yet. The day u say that prostitution is legal in Koran-U r Kafeer.
Peace, people Confused

Momma,
I believe that this is spelled incorrectly. I assume that it is kaffir. The meaning, however, is an slang offensive term for somebody who is not a Muslim.

Kaffir is originally a word of the tribal people who were in south Africa at the time of the Dutch settlement--and it just meant people. Eventually, though, it became a pejorative which the Afrikaaner's used toward any black man or woman. The term had currency in the 19th century, as in the Kaffir Wars which England fought against the Zulu and the Matabele.

Today, it is simply another word meaning much the same as n*gger.

Intrepid, i've never heard or read that, and wonder where you came up with it.

I've heard the Muslim term, Kaffir, as well. Or heard it used and referred to as a Muslim term.

Kafir is also used as an Islamic perjoritive for someone lower than whale droppings, a non believer.

So, NoNe, you are saying that prostitutes and gays are considered to be in the 'same boat' according to your understanding? That it is equally sinful to be gay, as it is to prostitute?

just trying to clarify

OK, Boss, thanks . . . i had heard of kuffar, but was unaware that anyone spelled it "kafir," which is why i balked at Intrepid's description of "kaffir."

the Church can accept whatever they think is fine, But is it Fine with God?
We have seen a lot of mistakes of Catholic Church in the History, Incvisition, indulgention, torturing people, burning people(sceintists as well) alive, etc etc. I just look at this as at another mistake.
