Many people have wondered about the parallel between the movie, "O Brother Where Art Thou and The Odyssey. Here in my interpretation:
The blind man on the rail car was Homer.(can't remember the actor's name)
John Goodman was the cyclops
George Clooney, of course, Odysseus
The three women in the river, the sirens.
Holly Hunter, Penelope.
Can you add any further insights?
