Explore My Computer

Hi Guys and Girls,

Can anyone show me how to create a shortcut to 'explore my computer' ?

I don't want to go to My Documents or anything else.
I just want to be able to call up 'explore my computer' with a single click.
But I'll be buggered if I can work out how to do it.

Cool

You could just create a shortcut on your desktop and use C:\WINDOWS\explorer.exe /n,/e for the target.

Or, did you not mean to get to Windows explorer?

Exploring My Computer
Easiest Way on your Keyboard:

Press the button with the windows sign, and the 'E' button simultaneously, you will reach your destination.

Unfortunately that requires the vast expenditure of energy involved in moving my other hand towards the keyboard and then the excruciatingly complex action of pressing two keys simultaneously.
So that's out of the question basically.
Wink
Thanks though.

I did mean to get to Win Explorer yes.
Now, your idea works well but it automatically opens my C drive.
Is there a way of getting it to open explorer that looks like this :-

Depending on the windows version, from the start button select all programs. Windows explorer is now an accessory. Go to accessories and make a desktop shortcut.
